Carhart Industries Announces $17M Phase 1 Capital Raise for Advanced Materials Manufacturing
Carhart Industries announced today the opening of its Phase 1 capital raise of $17 million, funding the advancement of its proprietary carbonaceous fiber manufacturing technology. The investment will support the development and scale-up of production facilities on a Texas factory dedicated to advanced materials manufacturing.
"This capital raise validates the transformative potential of our carbonaceous fiber technology," said the leadership team at Carhart Industries. "We're addressing critical gaps in defense, medical device, and industrial applications where traditional materials fall short."
The carbonaceous fiber technology represents a breakthrough in material science, offering superior properties in strength-to-weight ratio, thermal stability, and specialized performance characteristics. The Phase 1 facility will focus on scaling production to meet initial demand from defense contractors, first responders and medical device manufacturers, with expansion phases planned to serve broader industrial markets.
